This is actually a composite image made from two color negatives superimposed and printed together onto the same sheet of color
paper. One is of the bullet in free flight and the second is of another bullet smashing through a banana. Both were made with one
microsecond (1/1,000,000 second) light flashes provided by twin EG&G Type 549 Microflash units synchronized with the event
by a home-made sound activated synchronizer.
