Color / Imaging Engineer
Datacard is a leader in serving customers worldwide with innovative
plastic card solutions. The company's core products include several
lines of plastic card printing systems. For our ongoing development of
non-impact digital card printers, we are seeking a color / imaging
engineer whose responsibilities will be the following: 1.) Designing,
developing and implementing color separation, color calibration and
color management algorithms. 2.) Conducting research on color science
and related topics. 3.) Keeping up-to-date with new developments in the
field. This position requires a BS in Imaging Science, Photographic
Technology or Computer Science. Practical experience in at least two of
the following is a must: printing processes, digital image processing
and analysis, color measurement and theory, C/C++ programming, UNIX-
based real-time operating systems and Windows platforms.
