Andy : : I'm looking for a Research Associate in the R&D department for : a major corporation that has been in business for over 60 years. This : position will be located in the Minneapolis area and I thought with your : background, you may know of potential people that might be a fit for this : opportunity. The company will provide relocation, so I don't necessarily : need someone in the Minneapolis area. Below are some of the requirements : I'm looking for: : - MS or Ph.D in science or engineering discipline with an emphasis on : applications of imaging processes, computers and software to understand and : solve challenging problems. : - 3-5 years years of educational research or industrial experience in : applications of analog and digital imaging technologies, preferable related : to digital photography or electronic imaging applications in the graphic : arts. : - Applied knowledge of the photographic process, electronic imaging, and : digital image processing. : - Working knowledge of C/C++ and some specialized mathematical and : scientific software packages (i.e. MATLAB) : - Dedicated technologist with ability to work in a team environment : responsible for the technical support of new business opportunities using : digital imaging technology. : - Creative, with excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal : skills. : - Ability to travel to a limited number of sites to support initial field : testing of systems. Trips may last several days and would probably include : weekends .
