The Crusades: Darkness in Muslim/Christian Relations

One of the greatest causes of bad feelings between Muslims and Christians has to do with the Crusades. The Crusades are a dark chapter in Christian history. Nowhere in the New Testament (Injeel) did Jesus Christ advance the concept of violence as means of making disciples, or as punishment for those who oppose the Gospel.

It is in this spirit that we ask Muslims for forgiveness for the Crusades, and to please not hold that centuries old chapter of darkness against the Christians of today who desire to live in humility as Jesus Christ taught. It is our greatest hope to build a bridge between Muslims and Christians on which the two can freely cross and converse on the important spiritual issues that affect us all.
