Jesus was a prophet but not the Son of God

This Islamic doctrine doctrine comes from 4:171. "Christ Jesus the Son of Mary was no more than an Apostle of Allah." Other Quranic Sura support this claim. Jesus' own words noted in the previous link refute this claim.
